Emma is a commercial and outsourcing lawyer with significant experience working on large-scale, high-profile, public-sector outsourcings from “cradle to grave”. She works with a range of international IT suppliers, supporting their public sector bid teams on a quasi in-house basis. In addition, Emma acts as a trusted commercial adviser to SMEs and start-ups working in the cyber and defence sector, providing both commercial and strategic advice to help them grow their businesses and support their contracts with international corporates and HMG.
After training and qualifying at Eversheds in London, Emma worked at CSC Computer Sciences Limited/DXC Technology for 9 years, supporting their complex public sector and financial services deals. In addition to working on individual instructions, Emma regularly provides outsourced in-house commercial legal support to her clients through secondments and retainers.
