Gregor Kleinknecht

Gregor specialises in international commercial dispute resolution with a focus on complex and high-value cross-border and multi-jurisdictional arbitration and litigation cases. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and accredited as a civil and commercial mediator with ADR Group. In addition, he covers contentious and non-contentious international intellectual property law.   • Acted for a German green engineering company in trade mark infringement proceedings against a British competitor.

  • Acted for a leading regional auction house in proceedings for damages arising from the withdrawal by a consignor from a significant single owner sale.
  • Acted for the purchaser of a set of important 17th century coronation robes in proceedings before the Reviewing Committee for the Export of Works of Art.
  • Advised an innovative new art finance platform on its art lending facilities and created loan documentation.
  • Advised a Swiss gallery for modern and contemporary art on the sale and consignment of artworks in the London art market.
  • Advised the company behind the world’s first ultra-realistic humanoid AI robot artist on its terms and conditions of business for the sale of art works generated by the robot and on related contractual issues.
