Hiroko has 20 years’ experience in the private investment fund and wealth management industry. She spent 9 years in private practice at Proskauer Rose and Travers Smith specialising in private equity, hedge, and other alternative fund structures, including structuring for fund managers as well as advising investors in respect of their investments into a wide variety of asset classes. Hiroko has also worked in house for over a decade as Group General Counsel and Partner. During this time, Hiroko gained extensive board, governance and risk expertise and led on restructuring transactions.
Hiroko currently focuses on advising UHNW investors and family offices in relation to their investment portfolio and providing General Counsel support on sensitive reputation, risk, litigation and crisis management matters. She also continues to advise fund managers on LLP and carried interest structures and dealing with contentious senior executive hires and departures.
