Ryan’s data protection/privacy law experience started in 2012, and over the years he has worked as a subject matter expert for multinationals such as Honda Motor Europe, Schroders, Clydesdale Bank, Credit Suisse and Pearson. His most recent role was as Managing Executive for GRCI Law where he designed and built the outsourced DPO function, expanding to a team of 9 DPOs spread across the UK & EU providing specialist Data Protection, Information and Cyber Security legal advice. He has extensive experience of mapping data processing activities, GDPR Gap Analyses, Records of Processing Activities, DPIAs, Data Protection Risk Registers, SARs, Data Breaches and Third-Party Risk Management.
