For most of his years as a lawyer, Nick has been involved in a wide range of corporate/transactional and advisory work and has become known as a deal-doing, common-sense business lawyer. He has advised companies from UK start-ups to multinational trading groups.

Nick's clients (companies, partnerships and individuals) have been involved in areas as diverse as media, fashion, sports, telecoms, shipping and energy. Nick also assists in resolving shareholder disputes. Most recently, Nick was a founder member and then for 4 years chairman of SME Alliance. This high-profile support organisation helped owners of SMEs and other victims of bank fraud, lobbying on their behalf. He has represented several of those fraud victims. Nick also writes and lectures on legal issues - from the creation of start-ups to directors' duties and corporate governance.
